During times of fires and floods PHHWV is contacted not only by its members but the general public and occasionally by authorities needing help.

Being a volunteer ran organisation we are always mindful of the demands being placed on us, however whenever possible we will try and assist horses and owners in anyway we can.

If you are not in an area that is under threat and think you can offer assistance please complete the Offer of Assistance after Victorian Bushfires form below.

If you are in need of assistance please e-mail info@phhwv.org.au or call 1300 881 606

Offer Assistance

Our offer of assistance register is now closed.

Thank you to everyone who has kindly offered assistance by way of transport, agistment and care.  We have offers to re-home over 1600 horses so far.

Some of you may already have been contacted and we will continue to pass out details as requests come in.

The number of homes offered is more than will be required at this stage. Should the situation change and more homes be required we will open the register up again.
