Introducing Yarra a 13-year-old, 14.2hh Chestnut Kosci Brumby (?) mare
About Yarra:
- Approximately 14.2hh
- No trapping papers available
- Part of a recent surrender involving two Brumbies
- Initial assessment suggests she’s been backed at some stage
- More information will be shared once initial checks are completed
We generously covered feeding and transport costs to reunite Calypso, Yarra’s companion Brumby, with his mob back to the Victorian Brumby Association (VBA). VBA’s ‘boomerang’ policy is the standard we all should be following, as we also do.
Are you ready to welcome Yarra to your mob? If you’re interested in learning more about this lovely mare and giving her a forever home, get in touch! Let’s find Yarra her perfect match.

How to lease a horse
We do not sell horses or adopt them out, they remain a Project Hope horse. This is of great benefit to the new owner and the welfare of the horse.
