Meet Dick
Dick came into our care alongside his companion Dora when their previous owner reached out to Project Hope Horse Welfare for help. Recognizing they could no longer provide the care these ponies needed, the owner made the compassionate decision to surrender them before their condition deteriorated further – a choice we’re incredibly grateful for.
Dick arrived as a stallion and has since been gelded, recovering well from his surgery. This affectionate little guy is now settling into his new life with us, receiving regular health and behavioral assessments from one of our most experienced long-term carers.
We’re pleased to report that Dick is doing well and making positive progress each day. His gentle nature is shining through as he adjusts to consistent care and routine. We look forward to continuing his journey toward finding his caring home. Ideally we would love theses two to stay together.

How to lease a horse
We do not sell horses or adopt them out, they remain a Project Hope horse. This is of great benefit to the new owner and the welfare of the horse.
