Meet Jolly – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance
Jolly is a beautiful 14-year-old Arab chestnut gelding standing at 14hh, whose kind eyes tell a story of resilience and hope. This sweet boy came into our care through Hume City Council after being found abandoned and in need of some TLC. Despite his rough start, Jolly has shown us nothing but a gentle, quiet nature that truly lives up to his name.
When he arrived, Jolly was dealing with lice and hadn’t received proper care for quite some time. His dental work revealed sharp edges and ulcers, which we’ve been addressing to make him comfortable again. Through it all, this brave little horse has been an absolute gentleman – standing for all four feet to be handled and enjoying quiet walks with his carer.
Jolly is currently in rehabilitation, receiving the love, veterinary care, and attention he’s been missing. His calm willingness to trust again, despite everything he’s been through, speaks volumes about his beautiful character.
This special boy is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue his journey to full health and happiness. If you have room in your heart and pasture for Jolly, he promises to fill your days with his gentle presence and sweet nature.

How to lease a horse
We do not sell horses or adopt them out, they remain a Project Hope horse. This is of great benefit to the new owner and the welfare of the horse.
