Mocca
Introducing Mocca we believed to be just under 10 years of age ,15hh, Brown Thoroughbred mare.
Mocca has been with Jess at Keyson Park Breaking and Training Centre for just on 2 months now. The first issue to contend with was that Mocca was riddled with lice, so Jess used that as a training experience for handling initially. Jess has done an amazing job with Mocca, not only from a training perspective but also helping her achieve steady weight gain and improved health. Mocca had a massive worm burden and considering what came out, it was surprising she didn’t colic. Each day, each session, Jess and Mocca are finding their way together, and Mocca is becoming a lot more accustomed to people and showing really positive signs.

To follow the journey head over to Keyson Park
Jess has begun to establish good habits with Mocca, including grooming, picking up legs, and tying up. With more handling, Mocca has now had her dental visit, so we believe she is around 10 years old. She’s a 15hh brown Thoroughbred mare with a bright future ahead. She came to us after her previous owner couldn’t provide the care she needed, and we’re thrilled to give her a second chance at a happy life. She was one of three surrendered from the same property as Miffy and Tucson.

Mocca is a blank slate but eager to learn. Jess thinks she’s already showing promising signs of being quick to pick up new things and wanting to engage in training. Early days, but the feedback is promising . Mocca’s got a curious mind and a quite the character.
If you’re looking to welcome a new friend into your life and offer her the love, care, and experienced guidance she deserves, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s give Mocca the happy new start she deserves.
