Looking for a Loving Home for this Sweet and Social Thoroughbred Gelding! Meet Thorfinn! This handsome 17-year-old, 16hh Thoroughbred gelding is searching for his forever companion.
While he might not be a riding horse, Thorfinn has a heart of gold and fantastic social skills! He gets along wonderfully with both mares and geldings. He could even make a fantastic nanny to youngsters, having loads of patience (he is sorely tested by his current very sassy companion mare) but being a good disciplinarian when needed.
He’s a dream to handle in many ways – great to catch, rug, transport, and a star for the vet! However, our sweet boy has one true nemesis: insects! He will need a home that can provide excellent insect protection, especially when the farrier comes to visit. Think fly masks, fly spray, and a good management routine.
Thorfinn is an energetic boy who is blossoming into a sweet, cuddly, and very “in-your-face” dude the longer he’s in care – he absolutely loves attention! He’s a real character and will bring a lot of joy to his new home.
