About Play For Purpose
Play For Purpose is a 100% not-for-profit national charity raffle that helps hundreds of Australian causes raise funds. Operated by the award-winning 50-50 Foundation, Play For Purpose ensures that a guaranteed 50% of every ticket sold in support of Project Hope directly funds our cause. The remaining portion covers prizes and raffle costs, making it a highly effective fundraising model.

How Your Purchase Helps Project Hope
Every ticket purchased through our Play For Purpose page directly contributes to:
- Emergency Assistance: Times are tough. Our horse reports are up 50% and we are only in the early months of winter. When possible and safe, we prefer to help owners keep their horses (rather than taking them into PHHWV care via surrender) and in times like drought, that often means we help out by donating feed.
- Horse Rehabilitation: Funds will go towards the care and rehabilitation of horses surrendered to PHHWV, ensuring they receive the necessary welfare and medical attention with the help of our dedicated Short-Term Carers.
- Community Education: We believe that education is key to preventing neglect. Your support will enable us to expand our educational initiatives for horse owners and the wider Victorian community.
- Running Costs: As much as we would love to spend all our money on the horses, Project Hope like any other organisation has bills to pay for just to keep the organisation running. This includes things like insurance and administration costs.

The current raffle closes Thursday, 26 June 2025, 8pm AEST, but if you miss out, don’t worry, there is a new raffle every quarter and the next one will begin half an hour after the previous one closes, and run 26 June, 2025 – 18 September, 2025. Every raffle has a first prize worth $250k, plus 394 other prizes.
